Ok so my last journal entry was back in 06... Seems like its time for an update or at least something different. Course I don't know if anyone actually reads this thing but what ever.
So I'm currently unemployed and looking for work, with not much luck thus far. Thus I've been trying to stay busy with side projects. I've been working on several pieces off and on, so look for those soon, and I have also been trying working on editing the first Angels novel. Been digging through my unfinished pieces folder and trying to finish a couple of those as well. Some of those pieces are older then my last journal post. Shows you how long they have been sitting. So yeah that's my life in a nutshell right now.

I know its been a while... A realy long while so with out further ado on with today's installment of Hollin's life, titled either Armful of thong, or adventures in panty land. Yes you read that right. I've been doing inventory at Macys the last week, and today I had the "privilege" of working in the lingerie department…. Out of morbid curiosity I kept track, in the last 7 hours I scanned 1469, give or take a few, units of ladies intimates. That's about 209 per hour or 3.5 per min. I scanned every thing from 44DDD bras to size 0 thongs. o.O and believe me when I say that its mildly disturbing to find that there exists a bra with a cup large enough to comfortably fit my head and for those of you who are curious no I didn't check to find out. I was also given the interesting task of trying to find the tags on the clothing, that was adorning the mannequins. I'm not quite sure why the one guy in the department was given the job… But it felt a little odd to be looking all over the mannequins trying to find the tags…  Each day brings its own surprises and is never dull, but onto other topics, that may or may not be of interest.
Last Saturday I attended the very nice wedding of my friend Jolie. The service felt short, as it was broken up by both humorous moments and touching moments. Jolie looked beautiful in her wedding dress, as all brides should. And Amethyst looked good in her bridesmaids dress as well, it made for a long day but all in all it was worth it. Other then that I've been keeping busy writing the second chapter of my story and doing art on occasion.

So its been a while since i did my last journal. Ive now been working at my job for over 3 months and should have an evalution and potential raise comming up soon. Im enjoying myself, even if it is a bit mind numbing sometimes. Ah well. I get to see a lot of art. Some of it realy good. I have however not gotten much time to do art. Ive done some writing on my story but thats about it, no computer picts and not much in the way of sketches. Ill probably upload a few doodles I did a while ago just to have an update. I might have some other stuff kicking around to. I reely need to do some work. I have however been looking at other artists gallerys. Im particulary impressed with Wen-m's character designs and the amount of detail he puts in them. I just wish my mind could conceptualize that kind of detail for my characters. Oh well some day. In the mean time Ill keep doing my doodles.

On other notes. Square soft just keep visualy kicking my but! I dont care what anyone else says, to me they have some of the best computer animation around and could give lucas a run for his money if they wanted to. If your wondering what im refering to go check out the official Advent Children website theres a new 4 min long trailer, up as of the 10th. *drool*

Auditorialy. Im impressed with the colaboration between Jay-z and Linkinpark. Though nothing exacly new, it pleases my ears.   And im off work now so I have to catch my buss. See yall

Weeeee... I have a job. This post is actualy a little dellayed seing as im finishing my third week there. Only two and a quarter more months till my evaluation . I guess thats a good thing. So yeah back on topic. I got a job at Skylark Images. The company is a small one with all of 6 employes counting me. We do fine art quality prints of artists work. They bring us a photo or painting, whatever, we digitize it in one of three ways, then we remove all imperfections from it like dust that gut scanned as well, then we proof it so that when we print the colors match the original and then we print it on a range of materials from water color paper to canvas. Sizes range from 4 by 5 in all the way up to 5ft by 12 ft. My job? you might ask. Im a spotter and proofer mainly. That meens I spend 5 hours going over every inch of a peice at maximum magnification and touching it up. Sounds dull doenst it. It probably is but Im not bored yet. You just put on some music and zone. And for around 9$ and hour im not going to complain. The fact that I can use company materials at cost to print my own work is a nice bonus too. Going from no work and no school to a 8 to 9 hour day by the time i comute, has been tough. Im still adjusting, and its been hard finding time to do the things I want to. Im sure Ill figure it all out. I hope. Now if only I could get the rest of my life to make sence. I should probably get in touch with my college of choice again soon so they dont forget im interested and start asking about financial aid. Ugg. I hate making those kinds of phone calls. But thats life I guess. That only leaves getting my brain and body to agree on weather or not I want a girlfriend. That should be entertaining. Well its time for bed. I get to be up at the bright early hour of 6:30 am. At least its almost the weekend. Ah two whole days to my self. Well... not actualy I get to go to my moms birthday. Thats not a bad thing though because I like my parents. Heres to hopeing I have time to write again soon, and get some art done and posted. Peace.
